5th August 2005 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 18-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot surf Air Temperature: 16ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 24.3 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 33.3 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A nice sunny day with what looked like lots of wind. Unfortunately once on the water there wasn't quite as much wind as there seemed to be, so there was no chance of using my smaller kit, but I was nicely powered up with my 5.7m and my big wave board. The wind did ease a little at one point so I went out on the Sputnik with a bigger fin for some mad blasting across the chop, but most of the time I was on my Mistral Heat. Perfect blasting conditions with a nice swell on the inside, but then fairly flat out the back. The sun was shining, the sea was blue and life was good! |
